Alexandra Makarios

Alexandra Makarios, CRHA, is a People & Organisation Business Partner at CHANEL Canada, where she partners with leaders to build inclusive, people-centered workplaces. She is an active member of both the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Social Club, helping drive initiatives that foster connection, engagement, and a strong sense of belonging.

Her experience spans talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership coaching, and the development of HR strategies that support both performance and well-being. Outside of her corporate role, Alexandra volunteers as a mentor and guest speaker with Dress for Success Montreal, helping women rebuild confidence and successfully re-enter the workforce.

A strong advocate for continuous learning, Alexandra is particularly interested in the intersection of empathy, leadership, and neuroscience, and how these elements can transform the employee experience.
