Ray is a trilingual adult educator and social impact leader with over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held various roles in HR management across five different countries. As the Vice President and Head of Talent for Zurich Canada, Ray oversees a comprehensive portfolio within the Human Resources unit, managing the entire talent cycle from attraction and development to management, engagement, and culture. Ray is deeply passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive corporate culture, dedicated to nurturing and growing talent within the organization.
Ray holds a double major in Film Studies and Human Behavior Psychology with honors from Toronto’s Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). He is a firm advocate for continuous learning, having earned certifications in Quality Assurance from Sheridan College, Adult Education from George Brown College, and Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Ray was named one of The Peak’s Emerging Leaders of Canada in 2023, an accolade that honors young leaders shaping the nation’s economy, culture, and society. Currently, Ray is further advancing his expertise by pursuing a Mini-MBA at Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA.
