Christine Brooks-Cappadocia is the Assistant Vice-President, Continuing Studies at York University, in Toronto, Canada. Her thirty-year career has seen her applying an innovation and entrepreneurial lens to causes which benefit society in the education, health, social services, and arts sectors. Christine was instrumental in launching the School of Continuing Studies in January 2015 to prepare lifelong learners to grow and navigate the transforming economy through inclusive and relevant education. Since then, Christine’s contributions in progressive leadership roles have helped the School become one of the fastest growing in North America, known for award-winning programs which have been co-developed with industry to address Canada’s largest labour market gaps. Christine was recognized as one of CIO Views Top 10 Inspiring Business Women to Follow in 2024. Christine holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University and a Master of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Queen’s University. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the UPCEA MEMS Committee and on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce National Workforce Strategy Committee.
