Places I lived in the 1st half of my life: Although I was born in CA, I spent my formative years in Pauls Valley, OK (where most of my time was spent playing football, fishing in my grandad’s pond, and shooting hoops with my best friend on the dirt court behind his house).

Best place I’ve lived: Van Alstyne, TX (near Dallas) – it’s a little bit like #GreenAcres (which dates me if you get the reference). But it’s where I’ve spent most of the 2nd half of my life and have loved raising my family in the VA community. Now that our children have ventured off on their own, we’re enjoying country-life in Trenton, TX (home of the famed Rockyard restaurant) with some of our free-time spent on a tractor and in a garden.
