Dirk Propfe was soul searching for ways to reinvent businesses so they could be better, healthier, and more meaningful places to work. In 2016, he proposed a major shift in the ways that his Canadian technology company operated. Today, Dirk energizes the CEO role at ET Group, and the company is a thriving business with self-managed teams, industry-leading profitability, a consistent employee net promoter score of 50+, and a flexible remote-first model that both elevates the employee experience and supports its highly distributed team. Dirk is determined to help companies bridge technology with ways of working to create happier and healthier places today, and to pave the way to a brighter, more life-giving future. Dirk holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and two Masters degrees, one in Environment and Business (MEB) from University of Waterloo, Canada, and the second in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability (MSLS) from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden.
