Elizabeth McSavaney

As Chief People Officer for Zurich Canada, Elizabeth McSavaney is responsible for driving our Human Resources strategy to help achieve business goals through our people — building and enhancing a culture that attracts top talent to best serve our customers.

Prior to joining Zurich, McSavaney served as the Head of HR (Canada and Bermuda) at AIG. Before that, she served as HR Business Partner for Unilever in both the U.S. and Canada, and the Change Management leader for strategic programs across the North American business. McSavaney has also held several senior HR management roles for the Government of Canada. She is a bilingual, Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).

McSavaney is a volunteer mentor with the Human Resources Professional Association and a Board Member for the Canadian Mental Health Association (Durham region).

Educational background

McSavaney holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa.
